I’ve worked with Kimberly (my Mom’s neighbor) every few months. We both actively started pursuing our passions at the same time. (Her modeling, I photography) She’s made so many great strides in going after her dreams. Don’t ever let someone tell you that you can’t beat the statistics.
Sometimes, you just have to do some exploring with complete strangers and trust the good in mankind.
When they asked me what I wanted to be I said I didn’t know.
“Oh, sure you know,” the photographer said.
“She wants,” said Jay Cee wittily, “to be everything.”

“Breakfast, most important meal of the day!”
Carrabelle Junction, Carrabelle, Florida
Had breakfast at the Carrabelle Junction. Met the mayor of Carrabelle while he was having coffee with his buddies. Kind people.
Stayed here while visiting “The Forgotten Coast”. The Old Carrabelle Hotel, Florida
Due to some recent personal events, I’ve been trying to stay busy. I had off two days from my work trip and decided why not just drive around alone and stop at every single place that I want to stop at. Exactly what I needed. So many amazing things happened the past 48 hours. I feel that adventure is a quick remedy for any sort of unsettled soul. Ponce De Leon Springs State Park, Florida (Northwest)
For all those new and old followers alike that have been supporting my passion for photography, I appreciate you all more than you will ever know. I’ve been back from my cross country road trip a few days now and I’m attempting to soak it all in. We made it an entire month on the road exploring our incredible country. I left searching for something and I knew that I would know when I found it. Little did I know, that not only would I find that “thing” but that this trip eventually would completely change the way I saw the world around me. Average in this country, is usually what people settle for. They live their mediocre lives never forced out of their comfort zones. To leave your comfort zone, you must choose that it is the only option. The jump into the unknown can be terrifying. Yet, if you don’t ever make that jump. You will be stuck living in a mundane life. The choice is yours. No matter your budget, do something that is out of the ordinary from your regular routine. You never know what you’ll see, who you’ll meet or where you’ll end up. At the least, you can say you weren’t afraid to make that first step out of “average”.
Cloud covered mountains, captured through a sunroof at 80 MPH. On the outskirts of Garnier, Montana.
All I could think about the whole drive through the state of Montana was how incredible it must have been to be one of the first explorers of the wild west. I will always have a love affair with the unknown, the unseen, the pages left unturned.
An amazing brewery, fish and chips for days, and the jail house The Goonies was filmed in. I’ve got a question for the locals in Astoria. What is not to love about this place?
Walked into this shop and was kept busy playing with all of the roaming animals. Cute, eclectic, and lots of oddities to be found. Astoria, Oregon
